The past two weeks have been someo f the most crazy and hectic ones for us! Thus, the reason for no pictures! As I was packing, I realized that I have not taken my camera out in over a week! EEEKKK!!!
Yes, I did say packing! I spent over 2 weeks packing up all the things that Lilah and I had taken to with us to Kansas. I did not realize how much we accumulated, until I started packing, and we had to pull a 5'x8' trailer on the back of a Toyota Carrolla!!!! Luckily though, I have friends in low places! A friend of mine that I grew up with just graduated from Tech School and is also stationed at Lackland AFB. I flew him up to KS for the weekend so he could spend time with his family AND help me on our 10 hour trip back to TX.
The drive was not as bad as either of us thought it would be, well, for me, I knew it would not be bad, as long as we stopped every 2 hours or so. Which is what we did, and Lilah did GREAT in the car! I'm not a big advocate on Television/DVD's being played in the car, but sometimes there are exceptions to the rules; a ten hour drive! We left at 530 Sunday morning, and arrived in San Antonio around 4 pm, and dropped him off at the dorms, then headed to our friends house, were we are now!
Now that we are here in TX, my house hunting adventure has started again! This is not as fun as I thought it would be! I have looked at 4 houses in person so far, and there are pluses and minuses to each house, and a few I have completely knocked off the list. Yet, I am not sure we are going to get our money's worth living in a house, but we will NOT live in an apartment again!!!
I will try to get some photos of Lilah, once the sun starts to shine, and also some photos of her new and old friend Connor. He is the little boy of the family that we are staying with.
On a happier note, since we are back in TX, this means Trent will be home really soon!!! He has stopped working, and has been packing and shipping things back! So, any day soon he will be home! I hope I can find a place for us before he comes back!!!
I am here to share in the life of our family, especially my joy, Lilah. She was born with Achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism. I would like to share my support, ups, and downs, accomplishments and short comings about our family and taking care of Lilah. It's not that I would die for her, but that I live each day for her.

Great Weather
The weather here in Kansas on Saturday couldn't have been more beautiful!!! So, after an early morning, I decided to push nap time back a few hours and take Lilah to the park! We met up with Grandma (my mom), and had some fun times! Oh, and I got to take advantage of using my new camera!!!
Grandma and Lilah
She would sit long enough to go in one circle around, and then she would get off!!!
